NovoTHOR® · Whole-body red light

Twenty minutes. Head to toe.

Photobiomodulation at clinical dose — for sleep, skin, joints, and recovery. The first NovoTHOR® whole-body pod in Asia.

FDA-cleared Class II 20-minute session Fully clothed First in Asia
What it does

Six things your body is asking for.

Mechanism does the explaining elsewhere. Here is what changes in the lived week.

Sleep
Sleep

3 AM wake-ups, softer.

Studies show photobiomodulation supports melatonin pathways and slow-wave sleep — the layer perimenopause erodes first.

Skin
Skin

Collagen, at the depth that matters.

Red and near-infrared light reach the dermal layer where fibroblasts live — not just the surface. Peer-reviewed evidence in fine-line and skin-density studies.

Joints
Joints

Knee, hip, shoulder — less stiff.

FDA-cleared for knee osteoarthritis pain relief. Joint stiffness is the perimenopausal symptom no one warns you about.

Recovery
Recovery

The body that's stopped bouncing back.

Mitochondrial ATP support, reduced inflammation, faster muscle repair — used by Olympic medical teams since 2012.

Mood
Mood

A gentler nervous-system reset.

Mounting evidence for mental-health applications. A 20-minute pause that asks nothing of you — including a phone.

Cognitive
Cognitive

3 PM, a little less foggy.

The brain-fog wedge of perimenopause is partly inflammatory. Whole-body PBM addresses inflammation systemically — not just where you point a panel.

None of these are guarantees. They are the patterns we see when NovoTHOR is run as part of a protocol — not a single session.

NovoTHOR® pod interior
What it is

Photobiomodulation, explained simply.

NovoTHOR is a clinical-grade red and near-infrared light pod. You lie down. The light reaches the skin and tissue underneath. Your cells — specifically the mitochondria — absorb it and produce more ATP, the energy your body uses for every repair process.

More energy in the cell means inflammation comes down, repair speeds up, and the underlying mechanisms behind sleep, skin, joints and recovery all move in the right direction.

Also called Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) or Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMT) in the literature.

Your session

From arrival to walking back out.

Designed to fit in the lunch hour or between two meetings. Twenty-five minutes door-to-door.

1

Arrive at Katong Point.

451 Joo Chiat Road, #02-13. Five minutes from Marine Parade MRT. Parking on-site if you drove.

2

Brief check-in.

A few questions on what's going on this week — sleep, training, anything new. Same clinician, every session, if you'd prefer.

3

Into the pod, fully clothed.

No undressing. No oils. Eye protection provided. The pod opens; you lie down; it closes around — not over — you.

4

Twenty minutes of light.

Red and near-infrared, head-to-toe. Warm but not hot. Most clients close their eyes; some listen to NeurVi audio.

5

Step out, hydrate, go.

No downtime. Drive, walk, work, exercise — whatever the rest of your day was. We send a session note if your protocol calls for tracking.

The research, plainly

Frequently asked

Before your first session.

How is red light therapy applied?+
Photobiomodulation is administered through the NovoTHOR® whole-body light pod. You lie inside, fully clothed, for 20 minutes. The pod delivers red and near-infrared light at clinical irradiance — enough to reach skin and underlying tissue, not just the surface.
Are there any side effects?+
NovoTHOR has an excellent safety profile across decades of literature. The most common report is mild warmth during the session. Eye protection is provided. We screen for photosensitising medications and skin conditions on intake.
Are any precautions required?+
If you're pregnant, taking photosensitising medication, or have an active skin malignancy, we'll discuss this on intake. For everyone else, hydration before and after is the only practical preparation.
Do I need eye protection?+
Yes — protective goggles are provided and worn for the duration of the session.
How should I prepare?+
Come in what you're already wearing — sessions are fully clothed. Drink a glass of water before and after. Avoid heavy makeup or thick body lotion on the skin where you want the most penetration.
How many sessions until I notice something?+
It depends on what you're treating. Recovery and pain protocols often respond within 2–4 sessions. Skin and sleep architecture changes are more typically observed at the 6–8 week mark with 1–2 sessions per week.
Can I combine it with HBOT or NeurVi?+
Yes — and most protocols do. NovoTHOR pairs naturally with NeurVi (sleep architecture stacking) and HBOT (cognition and recovery). Sequence and dose are designed by your clinician based on your panels.
